I did enjoy writing this article because even for me it’s interesting.
I was browsing on a forum last night and I did notice this unpleasing question:
“Is there a way to add custom sound to a button when the mouse pointer is on that button?”
Emmm…I was surprised to read the “professional” answers :
“No, it is not possible without flash”
My answer: “Hello HTML5 is here and works fine”
Why people tend to answer so… annoyingly wrong?
Because my latest projects didn’t included this ‘feature” I have decided to create a simple demo where I used some “new” HTML5 and CSS3 language.
In this demo I used sound on hover (when your pointer hovers an image/button automatically plays a sound)
See the online demo or download it. By the way…if you’r still here, leave a comment.Basic HTML5 and CSS3 for beginners .
